Bounce TV to Launch In The Cut Season Two Tues. July 5 at 9pm ET/8pm CT, Affiliates to Run HD Premiere Episode on Primary Channel

ATLANTA (June 30, 2016) — Bounce TV, the only emerging broadcast network producing original scripted series, will world premiere the all-new second season of its hit comedy series In The Cut on Tuesday, July 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET, 8:00 p.m. CT.

As it did with Saints & Sinners and Mann & Wife, Bounce TV is offering the HD series premiere episode of In The Cut to network affiliates for airing on their primary channel between July 6-11. More than 30 affiliates to date are taking advantage of the opportunity, which allows them to promote their carriage of Bounce and encourage sampling of the series.

Coming off of its highly-rated inaugural season, In The Cut stars Dorien Wilson (The Parkers, Dream On), Ken Lawson (The Parkers), John Marshall Jones (The Smart Guy) with Kellita Smith (The Bernie Mac Show, The First Family) joining the cast this season. Large and in charge Jay Weaver (Wilson) is an accomplished entrepreneur and barbershop owner. Jay’s life as a San Diego bachelor is abruptly disrupted when he meets Kenny Clark (Lawson), who turns out to be his 31-year-old illegitimate son from a short-lived fling. Kenny wants to get in on the family business and as these two attempt to get to know one another and build their relationship, Jay experiences a range of hilarious setbacks while trying to keep up with Kenny’s life. The new season of In The Cut will follow this father-son duo as they join in on a secret jailbreak, barbershop pranks and Jay’s growing attraction to Cheryl (Smith), the new co-owner of the beauty salon next store.

This series was created by Bentley Kyle Evans and is produced by Evans and partner Trenten Gumbs, both of whom produce the Bounce TV hit original series Family Time.

New episodes of In The Cut will premiere Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm/ET, 8:00 pm/CT starting July 5.
